Graebel Appoints New Chief Information Security Officer
In today’s ever-changing workplace and data landscape, staying on top of current and future data security challenges and opportunities is crucial to any successful business — but especially in global mobility, where we deal with personal and confidential information and varying data laws in countries around the world. That’s why I’m pleased to announce Cole Krems as Graebel’s new Chief Information Security Officer.
In this role, Cole will be responsible for leading Graebel’s Information Security team, overseeing Graebel’s cybersecurity strategy and building on our program, to support the company’s people-first commitment and meet the privacy and security needs of today’s highly mobile workforce. Additionally, Cole will further strengthen our security focus to mitigate cybersecurity risks, placing employees, clients and supplier partners at the forefront of Graebel’s IT strategy to create exceptional experiences.
Cybersecurity is a paramount priority of our IT strategy and Cole will play a key role in driving forward our cybersecurity program to meet the needs of today’s workforce. We’re thrilled to have him on the team to lead our IT security into the future.
Cole brings more than 25 years of experience and passion for building cybersecurity programs to the position. Through roles at mid-market organizations such as Swift Page and Convercent (acquired by OneTrust), as well as start-up companies like Actium Health, Cole has hands-on experience with information security, tech and talent management. Prior to his information security positions, he led a large global infrastructure engineering team at Thomson Reuters for 17 years.
Outside of his passion for leading world-class data security programs, Cole lives in Evergreen, Colorado with his spouse and two daughters, and enjoys mountain biking, skiing and volunteering for the Special Olympics.
