Graebel Affirms Focus on Talent Mobility Following Sale of Graebel Commercial Services
Graebel Commercial Services, the workplace and commercial services business unit of parent company Graebel Companies, Inc., was recently acquired by Hilldrup Companies, Inc., an industry leader in workplace mobility services and solutions (now named WeSolve Workplace Environments (WeSolve)). The strategic decision allows both WeSolve and Graebel’s talent mobility businesses to focus on their respective priorities and goals — with the operational attention and resources needed for success.
Evolution is part of Graebel Companies’ DNA. When it was founded more than 70 years ago, Graebel was a moving company, and it evolved over the decades to become an industry-leading global talent mobility company. Today, the company’s core business is talent mobility; this transaction is the latest evolution allowing Graebel Relocation Services to be the focus for Graebel, following the divestiture of Graebel Van Lines in 2015.
“We’re excited for the future of WeSolve Workplace Environments. With Hilldrup, our former commercial services unit and its employees can flourish,” said Bill Graebel, Chair and CEO of Graebel Companies, Inc. “It also allows us at Graebel Companies to further invest our attention and resources into talent mobility, to continue our growth and industry leadership.”
While this change won’t impact the day-to-day functioning of Graebel’s relocation services, it will benefit talent mobility clients, mobile employees and supplier partners, as it allows the company to continue:
- Providing value to clients and mobile employees by adopting new ways to meet client and consumer needs digitally
- Strengthening capabilities, in part by optimizing operations and technology
- Investing in employees to be an employer of choice for top workforce mobility talent
- Deepening relationships and innovating with suppliers and valued clients to create even more exceptional experiences
