Graebel Companies, Inc. Announces New CEO
Ron Dunlap appointed to chief executive officer role as Bill Graebel transitions exclusively to chair of the Graebel board.
Denver, Colo. (August 5, 2024) – Graebel Companies, Inc., a leading provider of global talent mobility solutions, today announced the elevation of Graebel President Ron Dunlap to chief executive officer, while current Chair and CEO Bill Graebel transitions to leading the Graebel board full time as chair. This leadership change, which Ron and Bill have been working toward for years, is a testament to Graebel’s robust succession planning and its commitment to ensuring business continuity.
“Transformation is in our DNA at Graebel and we’re at an inflection point, one where many milestones are converging – our digital transformation efforts, which will completely revolutionize how we serve our customers; a new growth strategy to expand our reach and leverage our strengths; and the company’s 75th anniversary next year, to name just a few,” says Bill Graebel. “Ron has been a vital part of our leadership team for 15 years, demonstrating exceptional skill, dedication and a deep understanding of our business. Ron’s extensive experience and proven track record in driving innovation, fostering strong client relationships and achieving outstanding results make him the ideal choice to lead our company into the future. I can’t wait to see how the company evolves under his leadership, to become even greater than it already is.”
As chief executive officer, Ron will continue to shape the company’s vision and strategy and oversee execution of its plans and objectives, as he has for the last four years as president. Ron will be guided by Graebel’s goal of remaining the talent mobility provider of choice by anticipating clients’ needs while evolving and innovating to meet them.
Bill, who recently celebrated 40 years of corporate service at the company, will leverage his lifetime of mobility industry leadership and worldwide relationships to continue supporting the company and its senior leadership team. In his board leadership role, Bill will be focused on board recruitment and governance so that Graebel’s directors can continue to provide the insights, support and professional guidance needed to meet the accelerating pace of change in global mobility.
“Over the past four years, we have been pursuing purposeful change to increase our market share, by attracting new senior leaders, innovating our offerings and processes, and radically transforming our technology platform,” says Ron Dunlap. “While much is changing, some things will never change, including our commitment to delivering exceptional experiences for mobile employees, and our mission and values, which make Graebel who we are. I’m honored and humbled by the opportunity to lead our company forward, while continuing to work with Bill in his role as board chair.”
These new roles are part of a purposeful transformation at Graebel, to strengthen the company’s industry leadership and its ability to adapt and innovate for a changing mobility world. As Graebel executes on its strategy and looks toward its 75th anniversary in 2025 with excitement and gratitude, it will continue to be inspired by Bill Graebel and the Graebel family’s legacy of mobility leadership.
