Sanjay Rishi Joins Graebel Board of Directors
Dr. Sanjay Rishi, Americas chief executive officer of work dynamics at JLL and author of The Workplace You Need Now: Shaping Spaces for the Future of Work, was appointed to the award-winning Graebel board of directors in December 2022. In his current role, Rishi leads a team across the United States, Canada and Latin America in innovating and delivering a full suite of products and services that blend human, digital and experiential elements – to build, manage and improve spaces that transform how people work every day.
“As a CEO that works with Fortune 500 companies – helping clients leverage technology and the built environment to create powerful workplace experiences that attract talent, enhance productivity and help people and businesses thrive – Sanjay brings to the board a unique perspective about the future of the workspace,” said Bill Graebel, chief executive officer of Graebel. “As a mobility company focused on relocating employees to enable business worldwide, we’re looking forward to his strategic guidance about how the workplace will continue to evolve and its impacts on talent mobility.”
Prior to joining JLL in 2018, Rishi’s 30-year career includes establishing and leading IBM’s industry-leading Global Cloud Application Services business, which focused on cloud technology and cognitive computing to drive digital transformation; collaborating with C-level executives in the automotive industry on innovation and transformation strategy as CIO at Johnson Controls Automotive; and serving as partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with Sanjay as our newest board member,” said Ron Dunlap, president of Graebel. “His beliefs about a company’s responsibility to manage the employee life experience in the new workplace align closely with our people-first approach to mobility and our workplace culture, and I know he’ll be an asset in guiding our company through the opportunities and unknowns of the years ahead.”
“As we look at the opportunities that lie ahead for the workspace, talent mobility will play a central role in shaping the workplace and enabling the workforce of the future,” said Sanjay Rishi. “I’m excited to help Graebel tackle the world ahead, for their clients and their mobile employees as well as the next generation of workers.”
Rishi holds a PhD in management from Walsh College, an MS in management systems from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a BS in mechanical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology — Mesra in Jharkhand, India.
